On April 14, 2026, C4 collaborated with the Centre for Newcomers and AIMGA to facilitate a health navigation workshop focused on improving healthcare access and understanding for newcomers to Alberta. The workshop addressed common challenges newcomers may face when navigating the healthcare system and connected participants with information, resources, and support networks. Through community-based engagement and knowledge sharing, the event contributed to ongoing efforts to promote health equity, strengthen health literacy, and support informed healthcare decision-making.
This workshop reflects C4’s commitment to improving healthcare access through community-engaged research and knowledge mobilization. By partnering with newcomer-serving organizations, C4 helps address barriers to health system navigation while building relationships that inform future research, community engagement, and efforts to promote equitable access to care.
