Collaboration. Community. Connection. Care.
We engage communities, connect with equity-deserving groups, and collaborate with researchers and organizations, to work together for better healthcare in Canada.
Our Work
Engaging Diverse Communities
We take the time to build trusting relationships with groups, individuals, and communities. We aim to support and magnify the experiences of those communities that are often unheard to support better health and healthcare.
Co-Designing Healthcare Solutions
We use Human-Centred Design (HCD) approaches, we address inequities in healthcare and help those who may not get to the care they need. We gather people’s stories, learn about their experiences, and study the healthcare system to identify challenges and co-create better solutions together.
Amplifying Individual Stories
We collaborate with individuals, groups, and organizations who gather and share patient stories. Amplifying those stories, we bring them to the attention of those in power to enact change.
Connecting with Organizations
We bring our connections to build partnerships with organizations so that equity-deserving individuals can contribute to decisions about the delivery of their healthcare. We build on those connections in all the work we do.
Exploring Inequities in Healthcare
We seek to understand how to make care spaces safer for equity-deserving patients including those who are racialized, gender diverse, or come from a place of socio-economic disadvantage.
Conducting Health Systems Research
We conduct healthcare research that promotes patient-centred approaches to healthcare. We seek to advocate and champion better healthcare and help ensure that different perspectives are considered and acted upon.
